Work and Holiday visa (subclass 462) - US Citizens

The following is a list of requirements specific to Work and Holiday visa (subclass 462) applications. We suggest that you submit all required documents in the first instance so as to ensure the timely processing of the application.

• Completed and signed application form 1208 and visa application charge. Please refer to form 990i and the Currency Converter for the applicable charge. The application may be lodged in person, by mail or scanned and emailed.

• Photocopy of passport. While the original passport may be requested during the assessment process, we ask that you NOT send in your original passport without our specifically requesting it.

• Evidence of sufficient funds. Please submit a certified copy of a bank statement showing you have access to appropriate funds.

• Evidence of relevant education qualifications. Please submit official transcripts of high school/college records.

• Evidence of medical coverage for your entire planned visit to Australia.
