MOVE YOUR CAREER 'DOWN UNDER'
The Embassy of Australia in Washington DC will reach out to people across the United States on 27 September, inviting them to move their careers Down Under.
As part of the Australian Government’s Careers Down Under campaign, Embassy officials will next week hold a “Webinar” – or interactive online seminar – to let Americans know there’s never been a better time to live and work in Australia.
“Australia’s booming economy continues to create a wealth of career opportunities for engineers, accountants, health professionals, trades people, and workers in a host of other occupations,” Australia’s Immigration Counsellor in the United States, Vincent Giuca said.
“On top of this, Australia provides a world-class lifestyle, a sense of adventure and international work experience opportunities.”
Many Americans have already achieved success in Australia in the areas of business, the health and education sectors, entertainment and a range of other areas – but a wealth of untapped opportunities remain.
The Webinar will provide an opportunity for anyone interested in enhancing their international work experience to find out more about career opportunities in Australia, allowing them to ask real-time questions.
